WHY CHOOSE A KEY MOMENTS WEDDING DVD?               camera

First of all, which of the following statements are true?

Uncle Jimmy could do just as good a job as a professional
The cameraman always gets in your way and is always in your face
There's no point in video because the photographer will be taking pictures anyway
The video will be boring, long and tedious to watch
I would like a video but it would be far too expensive

These are the very statements that people make to talk themselves out of hiring the services of a professional videographer and in some cases, all the above could be true, depending on who you decide to hire. However, with Key Moments Video, all these statements are far from being correct.

Uncle Jimmy probably could do a good job, but does he have the latest in digital video equipment both for filming and editing, ensuring that your DVD will be the best possible quality? He may be HD Ready but are you ready to take the risk, on the most important day of your life!

A good videographer should blend into the background as much as possible. Key Moments Video rarely set up shots and during the ceremony and speeches, we remain in only one position. No big cameras in your face, no lights, no ambushing guests or trying to catch people out and no gimmicky effects or stunts! And definately - NO CHEESE!!

Key Moments Video finds that the style and format which works well, is to capture the action and unfolding story of the day. The photographers will be concentrating mainly on the bridal party. Some photos of guests perhaps and setting up poses. Key Moments Video concentrate on the whole occasion and not just the stars of the day!

The editing of the footage is our favourite bit! A chance to be creative. The real benefit of DVD is the menu system, which in effect, means mini movies can be created within the DVD. Just like reading a book, you can go to any chapter and watch it  without having to go through the whole DVD. We like to think that you will enjoy watching your wedding DVD, not fall asleep to it!

No it will not cost a fortune - far from it. At Key Moments Video, we are committed to offering high quality video on DVD, but have endeavoured to keep costs to customers as low as possible. You will be pleasantly surprised when you discover that our services and products offer excellent value for money.

Think of it this way, there is so much of your day you will miss - guests arriving, groom or bride arriving, guests mingling with each other etc.
And there will be so much of your day you will forget, because ask any married couple, the wedding day flies past so quickly. You will hardly have time to draw breath let alone remember the finer details. Key Moments Video will capture those special memories forever, so is it too high a price to pay?

Frequently Asked Questions

What are your prices for the wedding DVD?

The prices for four different Options are as follows:

Option 1:      £600

Option 2:      £700

Option 3:      £750

Option 4:      £925

You can find more details on the above Options here

For details of Key Moments Lite (reduced coverage and editing option) or for any other tailored options please contact us direct for prices.

What deposit is due?

I only ask for a deposit (booking fee) of £50. 50% of the balance is payable on or 7 days before the wedding day and the remainder is payable on completion of the DVD.

Do you travel?

Distance is no object and I have filmed weddings in Republic of IrelandScotland and England.

Do you come to the bride’s house?

Not as a matter of course and only if specifically requested. Even then it depends on the distance from the house and ceremony. I try to be at the ceremony location about 1 hour and 10 minutes before it starts.

Do you use two cameras?

The prices of the Options above are for 2 camera/operator filming.

Do you stay until the last dance?

This is Option 4 but is not available during the busy months of June, July and August. For the rest of the year it then depends on whether I have a wedding the next day.

How many extra copies do we get?

The Option prices above only include your main DVD set (usually 2 or three disc set).

How long do we have to wait for the DVD to be finished?

It depends on the time of the year. During the summer months it will take longer due to the amount of weddings. It takes at least 4 working days for me to complete a Wedding DVD production so that tends to cause a bit of a backlog when there is a busy period. I aim to have a DVD ready in no longer than 4-5 weeks at the busy period but outside this it should be ready for you to collect when you get back from honeymoon.

Do we get to choose the music?

About four weeks before the wedding I send out a questionnaire which asks for details of the wedding day and more importantly asks you what you want me to include or not include in the DVD. This is the opportunity to nominate five songs to be used in the DVD. In this way it means that it is what you want and not what I think you should have!

Do you send out a sample DVD?

There are a large number of samples on this website and links to my video albums on Vimeo.com which should serve as an indication to the style and quality of my work but if you wish to see examples of completed DVD’s then it is only a matter of making an appointment. To make an initial enquiry for availability then please go to the CONTACT US page
